Neat and Cool Checks

My daughter is too excited to go to the bank on Monday to pick up the booklets of checks she ordered. It’s her first time to open a checking account and she giggled when the bank officer asked her if she would like to have them personalized. She checked the designs and it took her a long time to choose. She said the designs are pretty cool and asked me why I’m not ordering for those checks. I told her that the personalized checks are new and I have already ordered a bulk before they introduced the new checks.

I was a bit sad when I knew about it because I will have to finish all my booklets first before I can order the cool ones. But I’m glad too that my bank is now offering personalized bank checks. I used to envy my sister in the US because her checks were so cool. Well, now we have those too.

My daughter chose an abstract design that somehow shows how youthful she is. The bank said they will deliver her booklets but it’ll take about 5 days. She is too excited and can’t wait that long so she called the bank officer to tell him that she will pick up her personal checks on Monday.

Things we don’t expect usually come up when we least expect it. Incidental expenses are just like this. An auto accident or illness or an emergency repair at home takes a huge chunk of our budget. These things need immediate attention. They often cost more than the small savings we usually stash away for a rainy day. To ask a bank for a loan takes too long. The most logical thing to do is take out payday loans that we could easily and conveniently repay every time we get our monthly paycheck.
