  • More Parking Spaces

Posted on November 27, 2012 @ 12:00 am | File under : automotive by Simply Delicious

I am positive that tomorrow, hubs won’t have a hard time finding a parking space at the bowling center. Last week, there were some men working at the basement parking. They were installing car lifts so they can accommodate more cars. A lot of bowlers have been complaining about their limited parking space and they were already making plans of transferring to another bowling center because of that. It was a good thing that the management listened and Florence, the manager, immediately looked for best buy auto car lifts online. According to her, installation wouldn’t take long and that more parking spaces will be available tomorrow when we bowl for our Wednesday league.

    Loooking for Hitches

Posted on August 21, 2012 @ 12:20 pm | File under : automotive by Simply Delicious

My husband is helping out my uncle look for trailer hitches for cars.  He was able to purchase a second hand trailer.  He got it for a real bargain because the family is moving to Europe.  The trailer’s hitch can’t be found though so that explains their hunt for hitches.  Hubs’ uncle plans to bring his family on a trip before summer ends so the guys are in a hurry to get a new hitch.  I told them that they should look online because they’d be able to compare prices there.

    Francis’ New Love

Posted on August 18, 2012 @ 12:10 am | File under : automotive by Simply Delicious

From the moment his father handed him the keys, Francis was in love. More so when he saw the manual of the car and read the XUV details.  The car was his parents’ surprise gift to him when he graduated Summa cum laude and although his family and friends had gathered at the banquet hall his parents had reserved on that day where they can all celebrate the special occasion, Francis can barely remember what happened. The whole night, he could not take his eyes off his new SUV.

His Mahindra XUV500 is in dolphin grey, his preferred color. It has a bold front bumper topped with large projector headlamps. Adjacent to the headlamps are smaller, recessed headlamps that add brilliance to the light given off by the large ones. A streaked air dam in the center pulled together the front view of the SUV, making it look like the face of a large cat, the cheetah from which the design team of the Mahindra drew their inspiration. It is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels adding to its rugged feel. The sides are boldly curved which adds to its sporty flavor. The rear view is accentuated by four tail lights etched with tattoos that are unique to the Mahindra XUV500. From every angle, his new love gave off a rugged and macho appeal that duplicated the rugged handsomeness of its owner. He just hopes that his girlfriend, Florence won’t be too jealous of his new-found love.

    Boing!

My car needs new shocks. Those on it has seen better days and had lost their compression. They had leaks everywhere and riding can be a jarring experience. I took my car to the shop and they suggested that we use the monro matic plus shock absorber. Their nitrogen charged and quite inexpensive. Now I have a very smooth ride. No need to wear a helmet to protect my head.

    Down the Highway

Posted on September 14, 2011 @ 11:26 am | File under : automotive by Simply Delicious

Last night I got a call from my brother.  They (with his family) were stuck in the middle of the highway because his rv broke down.  But he told me not to worry because help was on the way.  He just called up to let us know what was happening while waiting for the assistance. It’s really a good thing when you are a member of a roadside assistance club.  You know that there is someone to call in case something happens to you on the road.  We were still talking when the guys came so we had to hang up right away.  By now, they should be on their way to NJ.
