  • Baking Tip (8)

Yes, you know you should let the cookie sheets cool before adding the next batch, but it is tempting  to toss dough onto the hot pan to speed up the process.  Doing so causes the batter to spread, so you have flat and overly crisp cookies.  If you’re really in a hurry to put the next batch, try this trick.  Rinse the front and back of the hot pan with cold water for 15 seconds, then wipe dry before baking the next batch.

    In Distress

Posted on @ 1:08 am | File under : finance by sweetness

My house helps mother suddenly fell ill. She needed money badly and as soon as possible. She told me about her predicament and asked if she could make a cash advance. She had been with us for quite some time and has become part of the family. I immediately gave her the money so she could send it home to her sick mother. I even added some more to make sure her mother gets enough money for her medication. She had never asked for help in the almost two decades she had served us and sensing that the situation is critical, I cannot help but give in to her request.

Her mother is well on the way to full recovery. She cannot thank us enough for the help and understanding we gave to her and her family. These are things that we never take for granted or even give some thought. When a member of the family needs your help, we do it without asking too many questions. Employees are not just people who work for us. They are the ones who make our lives a little more comfortable.

    Push Comes To Shove

Posted on @ 1:08 am | File under : finance by sweetness

Things we don’t expect usually come up when we least expect it. Incidental expenses are just like this. An auto accident or illness or an emergency repair at home takes a huge chunk of our budget. These things need immediate attention. They often cost more than the small savings we usually stash away for a rainy day. To ask a bank for a loan takes too long. The most logical thing to do is take out payday loans that we could easily and conveniently repay every time we get our monthly paycheck.

When me and my husband were still starting our married life, Our first home needed some urgent repair after a storm. Our insurance couldn’t cover the entire cost and we both had to take out loans to cover all the expenses. We were able to pay it all back in no time. When push comes to shove, you have to think and make decisions quickly.

My son has embraced technology so much that he must have the latest gadgets. From laptops to the latest cellphones, he has them all. He even has a portable DVD player which he carries around anywhere he goes. His latest toy is his very own home theater which he installed himself. He really got so hooked with electronics that he plans to take it when he goes to college. He been interest in it since he was a kid. I’m sure he’ll be living his electric dream.
