It Doesn’t Have To Be Halloween

More and more parties have themes. I’ve attended quite a number of them in the past few months. It’s just been one enjoyable experience after another. The last theme party I attended was on Anime and Cosplay. Gone were the days when all we wore were costumes of super heroes. Costumes like these are quite detailed. Based on popular Japanese cartoons, they really are fun to wear.

We’re no longer stuck to Batman or Superman. The age of Naruto and Dargonball has donned on us. I now understand the fun my kids enjoy when they attend costume parties. You simply cannot forgo of the voluminous accessories that complement the costume. Outrageous headgear, belts, armbands and even the shoes are awesome. Parties have become more interesting. There was a time when I can’t imagine myself wearing something totally out of this world and mingling with people dressed in weird costumes.

Now it doesn’t have to be Halloween to wear a costume of someone you like. You can have fun with friends and family anytime you want. Even my kids want their parties to have themes. My son’s birthday is coming up next month. He’s in his teens and he wants a “Devil May Cry” party. I’m inclined to give him just that. I can almost see him have the time of his life. I know I’ll have a blast too.
