    The Queen’s New Kitchen

Posted on June 29, 2010 @ 10:53 am | File under : house and home by sweetness

Along with our kitchen’s renovation is the installation of new fixtures. To go with my new sink are stylish but functional Kohler kitchen faucets. I want a beautiful working kitchen to inspire to bring out the best in my cooking. My family especially my husband and son loves to eat. Hubby has been overseeing the work and is also excited to see our new kitchen. He has been buying stuff only professional kitchens have. He’s being true to his word that he’s going to give a kitchen fit for a queen.

Posted on June 27, 2010 @ 1:30 am | File under : cupcakes by sweetness

For this recipe you will need:

    • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
    • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup milk

    Procedure:

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a muffin pan with paper or foil liners. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa and salt. Set aside.
    2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk; beat well. Fill the muffin cups 3/4 full.
    3. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Frost with your favorite frosting when cool.

    Equine Lover

Posted on @ 12:52 am | File under : clothing by sweetness

I’ve been an equine lover since I was a kid. Every opportunity I get to ride a horse, I quickly grab it. I took professional lessons so I could learn how to ride a horse safely and humanely. I remember my tall riding boots which I lug around even in school. I always look forward to dismissal time so I rush to the riding school which is just a couple of miles away. To this day, I’m a certified equine lover.
