Choco-Zucchini Cupcakes

Heat oven to 350°F.  Prepare 1 box (18.25 oz.) chocolate cake mix according to directions, reducing oil to 1/4 cup.  Stir 1 cup grated zucchini, squeezed dry, and 1 cup hot mashed potatoes (about 12 oz. potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed).  Divide batter between two 12-well paper-lined muffin pans.  Bake 18 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.  Remove from pans; cool.  In bowl, combine 1 package (8 0z.) Neufchâtel cheese, 2 cups confectioner’s sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; frost cakes.
